Texas Hill Country Memorial Funds

The Lytal family invites you to contribute to a special fund established in memory of their precious daughter, Kellyanne, who passed away in the tragic flood at Camp Mystic on July 4, 2025. This fund will support meaningful philanthropic efforts that reflect Kellyanne’s kind spirit and will ensure that her light continues to shine brightly in the world.

Blakely McCrory’s life was tragically cut short on July 4, 2025 in the devastating flooding at Camp Mystic in Hunt, Texas. The Blakely McCrory Children’s Fund will further the mission of organizations aimed to create a world where children can thrive and reach their full potential, focusing on health, education, and overall well-being.

Whether at home, at school, in the pool, or on the tennis court, Greta radiated joy. She was a caring big sister to her little brother, Oliver, and a friend to so many at Sinclair Elementary, the Timbergrove Sports Association, and the Briar Club. Donations to Greta’s fund will be dispersed to established nonprofits with missions close to Greta’s heart. We imagine her watching with joy from heaven as we help others in her honor.

Katherine Ferruzzo lost her life in the catastrophic flooding at Camp Mystic in Hunt, Texas. Katherine was serving as a camp counselor—a role she took on with deep love and unwavering joy. The Katherine Ferruzzo Legacy Foundation will direct funds to support children, especially those with special needs, because helping them thrive was something Katherine was wholeheartedly committed to.

Margaret was a shining light and special gift to all who knew her. One of her greatest joys was being a friend–always inclusive, dependable, welcoming, and ready to giggle for hours. The Margaret Gaffney Sheedy Memorial Fund has been established by her loving family to honor Margaret’s legacy of kindness and friendship, and will be used to support causes dear to Margaret’s heart.  The Sheedy family is immensely grateful for your willingness to contribute to her legacy.

To continue to honor the beautiful life and enduring legacy of Molly DeWitt, The Molly Claire DeWitt Legacy Fund to serve causes that mattered the most to her. Endlessly creative, spunky, and strong-willed, Molly’s radiant heart was as expansive as her imagination. Molly noticed and was drawn to those people on the margins and in need, and from an early age she displayed a desire to offer care, kindness, and empathy to refugees, the homeless, and children in pain.

Virginia had 8 endlessly creative, wildly curious, and brilliantly gifted years.

The Virginia Hollis Memorial Fund intends to support children in chasing their dreams and developing the wonderful talent in their soul. They can then share their triumphs in Virginia’s honor, passing on her profound love of life.

We invite you to honor the lives and legacies of the 27 campers and counselors who died during the July floods at Camp Mystic by supporting Heaven’s 27 Fund—a joint donor advised fund established through the San Antonio Area Foundation—ensuring the names of these girls are cherished and their impact continues to shine for generations to come. Periodically, funds contributed will be distributed equally to each girl’s fund. The individual families will then use their portion for things such as providing scholarships, funding youth programs, and supporting vulnerable groups  to spread joy and hope in their daughters’ names.
