Access Your Online DonorSphere Account
Access DonorSphere: You can also access DonorSphere through the ‘Login’ button on the Greater Houston Community Foundation website.
Username: Your username is the email address that received this communication.
Reset your password. If you are logging in for the first time, select “Reset Password.” You will receive an automated email with a link to reset your password. Be sure to check your junk or spam folders!
Security Question. You will be prompted to set a security question as part of the password reset process.
While no system is entirely immune to misuse or fraud, we take your security seriously and work diligently to safeguard our official platforms. For your safety, only log in through our website and never share your DonorSphere credentials with external websites or unfamiliar tools.
Access DonorSphereSafeguard Your DonorSphere Access
Your DonorSphere username and password provide access to your account, including grantmaking, fund history, and contact information. Strengthening your login security reduces the risk of unauthorized grant recommendations and other account misuse.
- Use a unique password for DonorSphere (not reused on other websites).
- Keep your credentials private and avoid sharing logins.
- Enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) whenever possible.
- If you do not use MFA, update your password regularly.
- Consider using a trusted password manager.
Why MFA matters
When MFA is enabled, your account is protected by an additional verification step, beyond your password. In that case, using a strong, complex password is typically more effective than changing your password frequently. Follow these simple steps to turn on MFA:
- Log in to DonorSphere and click “Options.”
- Click “User Profile” then “Security.” Please ensure you have a phone number that can receive a call or text under by clicking “User Profile” then “Contact Information.”
- Confirm your mobile phone number to update your preferences.
If you do not have a phone number listed, please reach out to your Philanthropic Advisor or our Donor Services Team.
Please note: The Community Foundation cannot take responsibility for grants made using shared or compromised login information.
Confirm details before sending funds or recommending a grant
Please take a moment to verify instructions before initiating a transfer or making a grant. A quick check can go a long way. We encourage you to confirm details with a known contact, such as your Philanthropic Advisor or a member of our Donor Services Team (713-333-2210 | [email protected]).
A reminder for your protection: The Community Foundation will never update or request changes to wiring transfer instructions via email. If you receive a request that appears to do so, please verify it by calling us using a trusted phone number. While we do work to protect your fund, the Community Foundation cannot be responsible for assets sent to an incorrect account.
Be cautious with third-party websites and tools.
The Community Foundation does not currently partner with third party platforms that offer embedded donation or grantmaking widgets. While these tools may appear on other websites and sometimes reference our name or logo, they are not managed or controlled by us.

View Your Contribution Summary
View your Contribution Summary to see all gifts made into your fund, including the amount and date we received funds, and access your contribution acknowledgment(s). Once logged in to DonorSphere, you can view your contributions by taking one of the steps below from the home screen:
- In the Latest Activity section, you can click on Contributions.
- Click on the Activity icon located in the top toolbar, then click on Contribution History located in the left column. You will also find your acknowledgment(s) in this section.
View Your Quarterly Statements
View your Quarterly Statements to see all activity in your fund. Once logged in to DonorSphere, you can access quarterly statements from the home screen:
- Click on the Activity icon located in the top toolbar, then click on Statements located in the left column. Then, click the PDF icon to download the statement.
View Grant History
View your Grant History to see all grants made from your fund, with the names of the organizations, dates, and amounts you granted. Once logged into DonorSphere, you can view your grant activity in multiple ways from the home screen:
- In the Latest Activity section, you can click on Grants or View All Grants.
- Click on the Activity icon in the top toolbar. Then, click on Grant Activity in the left column.
- Click on the Activity icon in the top toolbar. Then, click on Grant History in the left column to run a custom Grant History report.
*If you select “Click here to view grant details” within each transaction, it will give you more detailed information or allow you to donate again to the same organization.
