Ozarka® Environmental Stewardship Fund

The purpose of the Ozarka® Environmental Stewardship Fund is to support the waters and water-dependent natural resources through conservation, enhancement, and restoration projects that will result in improvements to the physical, chemical and/or biological integrity of the San Jacinto River Watershed.

Applications are accepted for San Jacinto River Watershed projects that will:

• Conserve, enhance, and/or restore the watershed
• Improve the quality and value of the watershed, including education for responsible utilization of natural resources of the watershed
• Support stormwater management and/or reduce flood risk
• Strengthen local water resilience
• Reverse degradation
• Generate a volumetric water benefit
• Demonstrate collaboration among organizations
• Leverage funding from other sources

• Application Opens: June 15th
• Application Deadline: July 15th
• Grant Notifications: September
